3D laser scanning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

3D laser scanning<\/strong> is an advanced measurement technology that enables the fast and accurate survey of complex geometries<\/strong>, even on articulated surfaces that are difficult to inspect.

\nThrough successive scans constrained to reference topographic targets<\/strong>, the laser scanner<\/strong> captures the object in all its three dimensions (X, Y, Z)<\/strong> with very high accuracy<\/strong>. The result is a three-dimensional point cloud<\/strong>, a digital representation made up of millions of coordinates that precisely reproduce the object\u2019s morphology and actual dimensions<\/strong>, also including RGB colour information<\/strong>.
